A commercial prospection mission in the United States

With the aim of promoting access to international markets —North American and Asian— for agri-food companies and cooperatives in the southwest of Europe through digital technology, AGROSMARTgloba included two missions of commercial prospection whose organization was devoted to the two chambers of commerce, partners of the program.

One of the missions was held online, dedicated to the Chinese market organized by the Chamber of Commerce of La Rioja (Spain) in late December 2022 and March 2023.

The second mission took place from 07 to 11 March 2023 osite in New York, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Limoges Haute-Vienne (France).

The mission was made of :

  • a collective meeting on the American market and the wine industry
  • a visit of the trade Fair Vinexpo America  Drinks America: 440 exhibitors, 32 countries represented
  • a visit of specialty food stores in Manhattan.

The delegation was composed of 14 people including 9 representatives of companies from Spain, France and Portugal in the wine industry. This mission benefited from the expertise of the consultant IBDC – Impact Business Development Consulting LLC, based in New York.
